Finally saw that movie

Since it came out, I'd had been wanting to see the movie Juno. This past Sunday, I finally saw it. What a great movie. I absolutely loved the dialogue. The main character, Juno, drew you in with her "this is me, what you see is what you get attitude." Perhaps I'll add some more to this post later, but for now, this is more of a test post. The last thing I will write regarding my movie experience is that I saw Juno in a theater that I never went to before, P & G in Old Greenbelt. I have to do some more research but, this place has to be a historic monument. To begin, it looks old--from the single outside ticket booth where you pay cash (they don't take credit cards which forced me to run across the street to a cash machine) to the admit one ticket--this place reminded me of something you see in movies from back in the day. In any event, I think it's fair to write that the other eleven people in the theater liked the film too. I looked around at times and saw people wiping their eyes or heard them enjoying a good laugh. I should go to the movies early more often.

I also loved the movie. The photography and the score could stand alone as masterpieces. You can immerse to all aspects the movie (story, narration, each character--even the side ones are well formed--, music, conversations, colors, spaces, camera pans ... Together all the elements represent for me a complete piece: unforgettable and has the ability to serve with new experience each time watching it.

That settles it - seeing that movie will be next thing I do DURING THE WEEK - I expect my weekends to be rather busy for a while(grin) and most of my weeknights, too!

Juno was great, though I had difficulty with the dialog for the first half an hour. I thought the stuff with her dad and stepmom was among the strongest in the movie.

I haven't seen the movie yet but I plan to. I have been to the Old Greenbelt theater though and I love it. It's nice to go somewhere refreshingly different once in a while. The whole area is so quaint with its little market and cafe.
